Playing with Purpose

You often see or hear our signature descriptive phrase:Growing in Grace is an age-appropriate music curriculum that nurtures children spiritually while they sing, play, and move.” Our creative team strives to bring that statement to life in our materials with every song, activity, devotional, and KidPage. In fact, a quick review of our Scope and Sequence¬†reveals that Growing in Grace is rooted in teaching essential faith principals and musical concepts using songs, movement, and play.

The team has gone a step beyond curriculum to compile two delightful Activity Kits: “Sing and Play” and “Hymns and Bible Songs” that prompt playing with purpose. Each colorful kit includes: a CD of high-quality, digitally-mastered music that is fun for listening, learning and singing along; an activity book filled with coloring and sticker pages, games, dot-to-dot, mazes and more; 4 crayon colors; and 2 sticker sheets. And, it all comes in a handy, compact case. One kit focuses on fun songs that inspire movement and play. And, the other focuses on appealing arrangements of loved hymns and Bible songs. Both are drawn from the rich resources of Growing in Grace and embody the spiritual content and purposeful activities you have come to expect from our team. Each song is carefully paired with an activity based on the song’s theme and encourages appropriate cognitive skills or free play.

We hope you’ll explore a bit more by listening to some song excerpts below.

The Activity Kits are geared toward preschool and younger elementary children. But, we’ve heard that grandparents, parents, caregivers, and teachers have just as much fun with them as the kids! They are perfect for baby dedications; preschool brothers and sisters with a new baby brother or sister; choir gifts; travel activity to keep little hands engaged; or singing along in the car and at home.
